Message from Chairman

It is a great honour and privilege to stand before you today as the Chairman of Yamagata Dhaka Friendship Hospital. This institution has been founded on the strong bonds of friendship and mutual respect between Japan and Bangladesh, and it is a symbol of what can be achieved when nations come together with a shared vision of compassion, healthcare, and service.

Our mission here at Yamagata Dhaka Friendship Hospital is clear: to provide healthcare to both Japanese and local patients in an environment of dignity, respect, and professionalism. We have assembled a team of dedicated doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who are committed to offering the highest standard of care. Whether it is a routine check-up, a complex surgery, or any other medical need, we are here to serve with excellence.

For our Japanese patients, we understand the importance of cultural sensitivity, clear communication, and the sense of security that comes with receiving treatment in a foreign country. We are proud to offer services that are tailored to meet these specific needs, ensuring that your experience at our hospital feels like an extension of the warmth and care you would receive at home in Japan.

To our local patients, I want to emphasize that we are equally committed to your well-being. Our hospital is not just a medical facility; it is a bridge between our two nations, built on trust, knowledge-sharing, and a commitment to elevating the standard of healthcare for everyone in our community.

I would also like to take this moment to express my profound gratitude to the government and people of Japan, particularly members of Yamagata Saiseikai Hospital and Yamagata University whose support has made this hospital a reality. This partnership between Yamagata and Dhaka is more than a collaboration; it is a testament to the enduring friendship between our countries. Through this hospital, we aim to strengthen that relationship even further by improving the quality of life for the people we serve.

As we look to the future, our goal is to continue expanding our services, investing in the latest medical technologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. We are committed to being at the forefront of healthcare innovation, and to providing our patients with the best possible outcomes, by ensuring optimum utilization of the available resources.

In conclusion, I want to thank everyone involved in making Yamagata Dhaka Friendship General Hospital a center of excellence. To our staff, I am deeply grateful for your tireless dedication. To our patients, I promise that we will always strive to give you the care and attention you deserve. And to our partners, both local and international, thank you for your ongoing trust and support.

Together, we are building a healthier, more connected future.
Thank you.
